Polio

Polio myelitis is characterized by destruction and death of motor neurons. Normally, messages from nerve cells in the brain, or upper motor neurons, are transmitted to nerve cells in the brain stem and spinal, known as lower motor neurons, and from there to skeletal muscles. Upper motor neurons direct the lower motor neurons to produce movements such as walking or chewing. Lower motor neurons control movement in the arms, legs, chest, face, throat, and tongue. Currently, there is no cure for polio.

Stem Cell is a science of regeneration to induce repair and regeneration of damaged cells, which was damaged due to various cause.

There is no effective clinical trial for this condition. The Chaitanya stem Cell-Center's clinical trial is unique because it focuses on repairing tissue damage and restoring function to improve each patient's quality of life.

There are a number of advantages to using human stem cells that do not require immune suppression and which can help balance immune function by changing the genetics of the immune reactive cells. . Bone marrow stem cell is autologous, so there is no fear of rejection or mismatch or need for immunosuppressant.
